Last year Panther Komodo's were awesome in buggy.. I heard that Gators were really good in truggy. I'm guessing it won't be a whole lot different.. But who knows??

Last year in buggy for me it was the Komodos. This year I am running Truggy and I am bringing Gators and holeshots. I figure with these two tires I will have whatever covered. I don't know with the different vehicles and different driving styles if there is "the tire" I am hoping a big, soft Cleat will get me through if there is loose and hard packed mixed in. If it turns out to be hard and solid the small holeshot cleats should work. If neither of these work, I will put the Goodyears on I-65 and come home!

Just some Hobby thoughts

That is one of the great things about the PNB. Practice starts at 7am Friday morning and runs for 24 hours till 7am on saturday morning. You could be getting off work at 5pm, drive 6 hours and still have 8 hours of practice available. No more shutting down the track at 10pm and restarting in the morning at 7am like most events. We run all night! 60 plus hours of non stop action for 3 days straight.

Hey just a question about the 24 hour practice... Is it Always a packed drivers stand all night? or is there times through out the night/day where its not full?

Thanks

Dave....I know it says that there are NOT RV hook ups at the arena this year....does that mean that NO RV's are allowed?

jaco123:

The drivers stand is 40ft long and can handle 22 drivers. It was full most of the time. Around 2am it started to tapper off from 22 to around 15. It will average 10 to 15 from 2am to 6am then will most likely be full for the last hour. During the day the drivers were moving on and off the stand fast so you will get a ton off practice. The most you can handle in a 24 hour period.

skeller:

RV's are welcomed with open arms. We have plenty of parking for everyone and we will be opening up another section of the property so everyone will be comfy. Bring any size and we will find a spot for you. Just remember there are no hookups so bring a generator. The facility is doing a renovation on the rv hookups and they will not be ready.

Default A Little Help Please

I know there has to be som modders out there
I am trying to widen the track of my NTC3 4WD plus.
I'm looking for is what is needed to get the chasis higher of the ground.
Only way I can think of is longer axles to get tires away from the chasis.
Then I can put bigger ( taller tires on it which will bring the chasis higher.
After looking I dont think spacers will do it, it will have to be longer drive axles

Need to accommodate larger rims and tires.
I'm thinking a longer axle may work.
Whats the longest axle that will fit the stock cvd or complete cvd changeout if I have to.
There is so little clearance.
Tires have to clear the chassis and muffler when turning for a little dirt trackin
or just running at the ballfield.
seeking positive input to a solution !
I think there is a market for this conversion since there are so many NTC3's out there.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
