Default Dragon racing chasis off of ebay?

Just saw these chasis on ebay for mugens and kyoshos. They are made of 7075 and look decent. Has anyone tried one of these?

I have a buddy who picked up the Jammin one, and another who picked up the Losi one, and both were bent within an hour of racing. Its a cheaper grade of 7075....

all Dragon racing products are trash. If you want the best Aftermaket chassis, head to www.bcespeed.com and get one of his.

BCE make the best chassis no doubt, however if the track is smooth enough and doesnt have huge jumps the Dragon would last a bit longer and at the price would be cheap enough to replace, the only saving would be weight it is a fair bit lighter than stock and not sure but a bit lighter than the BCE as well, this would be the only situation i would concider the Dragon chassis, but then again would i change from my BCE i doubt it

Thanks for the info guys. I think I will stay away. Usually when something looks to good to be true, it is. I can't decide whether or not to put some upgrades on my mbx5t this winter for the next race season or just run it stock for another year and then get a new one. The upgrades seem to add up real quick, to where it is almost worth just replacing what is broken through the year and then just saving the money for a new truggy.

you would be lucky to make the dragon last fifteen minutes on some occasions...

yeah, the other stuff is probably fine, just not the chassis. same here, i have a buddy who ran a mugen dr chassis and it bent so bad the clutch bell was rubbing on the spur gear, went back to the stock one after that. it did take a beating tho to bend that bad.
