How can anyone argue about the Value of a Kyosho Buggy, they"ve only been domnating the entire circuit forever! I just bought the Xray 808 but I would sill love to own the new MP9, actually anything but Losi would gladly be added to my collection, and not the Losi only becuase it's all standard screws and I refuse to buy all new tools, lol

have to admit im getting rather fed up with people moaning about the price of the k car,
yes its not cheap, yes its dearer than the other cars, yes the mugen is cheaper and is regarded as having the same quality similar with the xray
FFS!!! no one is forcing you to buy the bloody thing are they!!
All credit to people that do buy the mp9 undoubtedly it will be a good car and the materials used 2nd to none, if it wasnt for the fact im a hardcore mugen fan id get one
Good luck with the build cant wait to see the pics of it

Dumb haters. Just because the guy has disposable income that you don't you bash his purchase. This hobby is just like all the others, sure there are affordable kits out there but the dude want a high dollar kit because he can.
Try building DH mountain bikes if you think he threw away 800+ on a sweet looking buggy.

Here's a few tips when you're assembling the MP9
- When inserting the width bushings into the rear lower wish bone use Tamiya threadlock to glue the bushing into the wishbone. The Tamiya threadlock is used just to secure the bushing in the wishbone. The bushing is still easily pushed out if you need to change the width of the car.
- Use Tamiya threadlock again to glue the shock cap bushing to the shock cap. It secures the bush better and its less likely to vibrate loose and wear the shock cap itself.
- Regarding the 3mm countersunk machine screws that mount the shock tower on the sides of the bulkhead. Use a longer 3mm countersunk screw that will pass all the way through the plastic side lug and then use a lock nut to secure the screw. This may reduce the chances of the front or rear shock tower pulling that particular screw clean out of the bulkhead lug and the shock tower bending as a result of a very heavy crash.
- mount the 3mm locknut on the servo saver before mounting the whole steering system on the car. Its very very hard to get to later on in the instructions manual.
- Don't fully tighten the screws that hold the rear toe block to the bulkhead until the whole rear end is mounted to the chassis. Then you can tighten the screws snuggly.
- Use some of the ring gear grease to apply to the locking wheel nuts and the 17mm hex hub then tighten as normal. This will reduce the chances of the locking wheel nut stripping the hub. Remember to clean the wheel nut and hub afterwards.
