its not complete built.. but tub is not as stiff as a dbl carbon deck car like the Evo3SE or 414.

the material the tub is made out of seems like a hybrid of plastic and graphite.. its black like plastic.. but i can see slivers of material like in the graphite tubs for the TA04. im gonna race the car on sunday.. and probably finish building it in the next few nights. ill let you know how stiff it gets after its completed. im gonna try to somehow use the upper deck from EvoIII SE, although i dont know if that'll be TCS legal. its a great lookin car right now.

Make no mistake, the TB02 is not a race chassis...yet. The plastic material is soft to say the least. I'm sure it is forgiving and probably fine for the GT2 TCS class, but to try and run this car in Mod. might be a mistake

If you were going to compare it to a Tamiya car I would say it flexes slightly more than the original EVOIII. (my 04R is stiffer than the TB02)

anyway to incorporate the upper deck from an EvoIII/SLE to those plastic caps at the end of the tub? i know it'll weigh the car down, but wont that help stiffen it up?

I think you could come close if you used some standoffs that raised the plate from the plastic upper supports, but given the flex of the lower chassis I don't know how much more it would help.

(might be a fun project )

Is that the weight of the car in stock form? 52.5 oz is about 1490grams and a body will be abour 100-110g = 1600g

The car as pictured above weighs 52.5oz

With the hop-ups added it is about as lite as you can make it and still be legal for TCS racing in the states...but not exactly feather weight chassis
