Futaba 3PM and my brushless - throttle adjustments?
Hey, I'm hoping I can get some input about what I can do to make the acceleration on my motor a little more linear. I just switched from a 27t brushed to a 17.5 brushless and with the way it provides instant-on torque, I'm finding that my throttle control now needs some adjusting...otherwise, I'm going to keep doing donuts all over the track
I have a Novak GTB and a Futaba 3PM - what can I do on either end to adjust the acceleration curve of the motor, when I'm applying throttle?

Turn the Throttle Exponential down to until it fits your liking. This will lessen the initial punch or "instant on torque" that you are having problems with.
or... practice with finesse on your throttle finger. either way should work.

Yeah, the practice is going to be the big difference...but I just wondered what I could do to sort of give myself a little bit of a crutch, to get used to it. I'll play with that throttle exp setting and see if it helps me.
