serpent has a different wheel than the mugen and kyosho, so take mike1 advice!

I really like these tires , but lately I have had some strip. Has anyone else had this problem?

kmh - Yes, we have seen this problem. Usually it's in high temperatures when you hit something (touching a board with the side of the car). As a temporary fix, I put 3x3mm set screws in the small holes bewteen the pin slots of my rear rims at the Nats for extra safety. The mold has already been changed and the new Prism's that are coming in no longer have that hole and the chamfer that allows the pin into the slot for faster tire changes has been removed for extra safety as we think possibly with the tolerances of all the different cars, there may be a little end play from time to time that allows the pin out of the slot and into this chamfered area to twist the plastic. I only had a problem with 1 wheel on my Motonica (after a side impact) but we need to make sure no body has any problems at all so the changes are already made.

I am now running a Motonica P8.0R 2008 Ed.
Which Jaco Prism tyres are you using? The Mugen/Kyosho version right? Are they a direct fit, or you need to make any modifications?
Also which shores on each corner do you use for the long mains?
Finally, guys, I am still having a hard time finding these wheels on online shops.
Your help would be much appreciated

hey guys
ive just purchased a set of jaco prisims for my serpent 960 and they dont fit.
what i have noticed is that on my ATS wheels they have a coneing on the in side for the Wheel-axle shim steel conical to fit in. and the jaco prisims dont, so is this normall, will i have to get my dremel out to make them fit.
