Now that I have time to finally build them...actually I asked myself one day why wasn't I building them. It didn't make sense to me to buy all these cool kits and then stuff them in a closet. I love Tamiya box art, but really how much fun is it to pull out a box and stare at the parts? So recently, within the last 6-7 months I've decided to build them up and try to put a few hop-ups on them along the way. It's been a blast. To top it all off I found this forum while searching for parts on the net. I thought what the heck, lets share some pics and see what everyone else is doing with there's. The cherry on top is Tamiya seems to be bringing these cars back. YEAH!!!!

I'd love to see some pics of what other people are doing with the F101's, F102's, F103's, etc, etc. Come on guys, post some pics!

now im regretting having sold off some of my kits in the past... hehehe blame it on college... hehehehe just joking.

i'll try to post some pics asap. im just waiting on a kit ive been stalking for quite a while...

PS, if by chance youre thinking of selling one of your old F-102 kits, i'll be willing to take it off your hands... hehehehehehe

Hello everyone,

Very nice looking cars. Evo, that is one nice looking PIAA. I'd like to take my cars to a nice track and get some pics like that.

Alana, I really like your cars. The Kyosho Jordan is sweet. I use to have one of those. But I ran it and jacked it up. Now I can't find a body set for it. I'm working on a Tamiya Mclaren MP4/6. I've got all the stickers and just bought a body kit on ebay. Don't ask how much. I'll post up pics when I'm all done with it.

I get my decals from the link below. They're really good at shipping and packing the stickers up so they don't get jacked up by the postal service.

Thanks guys for posting up the pics. I'd love to see more of what's out there.

OK, so here's where I'm at with everything...A few of these have been restickered since I took these pics. Like the Williams FW14B's. The Jordan car has had the rear wing mounth replaced with the plastic one and the interior has been painted. Most of these are works in progress. As I get time or find parts/stickers I work on them. The Tamiya F1 cars are my favorite car by far. Hope you like the pics!

Thanks guys.

I'm currently working on a Sauber C12 and following that will be a McLaren MP4/6. I'm also going to do a new body for the Kmart Lola, the one I have is used and could be done a little better. Then I think I'm done....until I find another one. LOL

@ Vyger,

bro! you looking for a F-103L Lola IndyCar body?

i have an extra body of the Rahal Hogan Miller Genuine Draft Honda body. its never been cut nor painted and everything is still there...

want that? maybe we can do a swap deal.

im also looking for the plastic wing mounts you used on the Williams FW14 and the Jordan 191. those are great alternatives to using those ugly wire wing mounts...

Hey Tommi, Thanks for the offer on the Lola, but I have a couple of bodies aready. I've got a pretty good inventory of bodies that I've been holding onto, incase I decide to run one of the hanger-queens. But I do appreciate the offer.

Regarding the wing mounts. They where sold by Tamiya as replacements to the wire mounts. The kit comes with a long version (like the ones pictured) and a short version that mounts to the lower rear wing. I have a short one if you'd like I could mail it to you with instructions on how to mount it. Let me know if you're interested.

yes. im very much interested in the wing mount you have. just a question. would that work on the rear wing of the Tamiya Lotus Honda 99T? i got a brand new condition unpainted Lotus 99T body set. i managed to adapt the body to fit the F-103 chassis but im just a bit stumped on the rear wing...

if it will work, how much do i owe you for the part?
