Woohhh..
More Xrays than Losi's...

Heres what last weeks big race out here on the west coast looked like. I was the only Xray in the A-main and the only privateer for that matter.

Here in NY, NJ, CT, you'd feel right at home. I know for sure the guys down at Texas have a strong count as well.

He did say the "East" Coast, but I think it must be in his area, because Losi is still the dominate buggy in the US, except maybe in Texas where X-Ray is extremely popular too. Last RC Pro race there the print out (I saw) had 8 out of the 10 Buggy's in the Expert A-Main were 808's. But, I'm sure there are pockets of racing across US where other then Losi are the most popular.

I too have had great luck with RCA......

That's very good of you, thank you. It's going to be a bit hit and miss if i can get out there or not but i will certainly try and swing things around so i can. I haven't driven one yet and pretty keen to. Hopefully see you there!

Thanks again for the offer

I would love to see the 808 win the worlds!!!!!!!! that would turn the tides a little on the Losi selling 4 to 1 to the Xray. Go Team!!

Not really if that was the case kyosho would out sell everyone 10:1. It's a matter of budgets the losi is just priced rignt with maximum performance. Thats where the difference comes in. Losi kit $420, Xray kit $620 thats the price of a losi kit with engine RB S3 or Go 7. Losi offers affordability with instant performance thats hard to beat. Now if the Xray was the same price or close say $500 it would probally sell alot more. No shots at Xray just stating the obvious.

Don't forget to add in the 8 extra servos you need to buy with the Losi, cause they only last 1 race

I dont think price is the problem.Word of mouth,or hype is the key.It seems when somebody actually drives an 808 they love it.losi has the right idea, good initial price & the budget to blanket peoples minds with the hype. When people are told the 8ight the hot ticket & you got some one like drake in person everywhere talkin to people & ads blanketing the industry your gonna sell period.People are like sheep tell them something enough times & it becomes true, just like the internet some clown goes on every board & makes the same statement people jump on the band wagon & say yah I keep hearing that everywhere.Horizion makes it easy for shops to push product for a couple reasons, dependable supply, warranty,& sell now pay later.Horizon is very very smart.$150 throws a blanket across almost every race buggy except the K car.I took forever to go 808 simply because it wasnt kept at the front of the RC part of my brain. When I drove one my first thought was I dont understand why this aint the dominent buggy. Its because people aint told about it constantly.

I was replying to Vlad who said that Kyosho should outsell all others by 10 to 1 because they are always in the winners circle, but at the results I have been seeing the past couple of years it's Losi that has been dominating the Races

Kyosho won the worlds because a Losi wasn't there.

Why does everyone keep sayin that. Thats another internet fraud. Yes Losi had a servo problem that affected some people who got on the internet blasting it. However that was a small % of losi drivers. Mainly those who can't set there linkage and EPA's correctly. I have yet to burn up a servo. That comment would be like me saying if you got an 808. Don't forget to take your bag of bearings with you to each race. Thats just a problem some people experience with there 808's not everyone.

Your right they have not been winning many major race lately. They've only won The Worlds more times than I care to count. That being the only race that really counts. The biggest stage with the brightest lights and best competition.
