Ok so im just asking to get a idea on what gearing others are running for racing there t4.Im running a Lrp ai esc and 13.5 brushless.Right now im 87/19I was at 87/21 but chewed up the spur gear due to the pinion teeth were rounded off severely.So i know to stay at 87 but was wondering what pinion to run in my truck???

Gearing will depend on track, but even the smallest track I would say you are under geared. I would start at 81/25 and work from there. When I ran the 13.5 in my b4 I ran 78/31, but being you have a t4 you will need a smaller pinion.

Asked this question a week ago or so. I'm running a 78/27 in my truck, test run went great on the street. I will be racing on a 1/8 size track...so can't wait to see how it goes. When I used to run a 13.5 in a touring car, we ran crazy low gearing...so I assume that same concept can be applied to off-road.

Well i appreciate the quick responses guys,I like how my lrp 13.5 does,its quick.I was told lrp isnt that great but bashed on my t4 few times and its quick with good power.I figured 19t was to small.I picked it up off a friend who bought it but never used it so.

I live in Enumclaw also, am building my 2nd T4, sold the other one last year, mostly run onroad, but will be doing some offroad this winter.
