The IFMAR 1/8 Scale Buggy Off Road World Championships are 9 days away and I was wondering who from R/C Tech will be making the trip to Charlotte, NC to watch it at The Farm II. The drivers list and schedule was just released and there will be 216 drivers representing 30 countries. We plan on being there for the mains on Sunday (9/21) and may be able to see some qualifying in the middle of the week. If you're going, let everyone know what day you'll be attending.

Derek and I will be arriving late Friday evening the 12th. I have heard that there is a track in Cherryville that may be running on Saturday the 13th. If any of you locals can give me some info on this or another track close by that will be running Saturday please let me know, we would like to get Derek some track time before the Worlds.

TKO will be closing to attend the IFMAR Worlds in Charlotte. Please get your orders in before September 12th so we can get them out to you. We will re-open September 23rd.

We will have engine, clutch and drive train bearings for those racers who need them. TKO will also have Eureka Lube for your diff gears. We have 30 tubes we will be handing out to the racers.

Hoping all have a safe trip to Charlotte.

ehartmank, No FTMS race for us this time we will be in NC at the Worlds, check in and all is done on the 14th and Practice starts the 15th.

R/C CAR Magazine will be there all week long, covering the event, and passing out mags and stickers...

And we have the "only" RC editor that qualified (finished in top 30 at nats) for this event racing and giving a report from the racers perspective...the only mag that can say that...

I live in DC, but just found out that I have to work in Charlotte on the 22nd so my job is paying for my flight down!! Looks like I now get to fly in early and watch the finals! Anybody have any idea about what the schedule is going to look like on Sunday? If I get there between 12 and 1 will I have missed everything?
