I see your point, but i tend to start with a certain set up... figure out tires first. If my back end isn't rotating properly and i fix it with bowfighters, next track i go to where i run holeshots, or the track changes to suit differant tires i am back to the problem of the back end not rotating... generally a 1 up or down weight in oil does the trick.

Does that make sense? I'm not pretending to be an out and out expert, but that's the way i have been rolling. If i am missing something or there is a hole in my logic do let me know.

I often switch to holeshots here in Cali through the day, particuly for longer finals when i know the track will dry out. I also find Panther Komodo Dragons med/soft give the forward grip of bows and the side bite of Crimes... they just don't last very long.

No, I am saying that you will have much less steering than if you had the crimefighters up front.

Panther Gator and Boa would be a good combo when the boa's hit the shelves....imo Proline's wear too fast.

Ian- I can see your thought process. Here in AZ I don't really have to change my car at all from track to track. Maybe some ride height or camber and thats about it. If you are having trouble getting the rear of you car to rotate you may what to try a shorter camberlink in the rear. That should help it rotate from the center off. Just a suggestion for you.

It seems like on some tracks the bow fighters Push, then other tracks you cant beat it. I always ran this set up on my Mugen Truggy with awesome results, but my losi buggy in the soft stuff it just seemed like the back end wanted to grab so hard it did not even let the front end grab. But I ran bow ties all the way around and it was pretty good. Sound right? Just not driving hard enough for it?

Thumbs up

Same as Bowe-Fighters but AKA's version... Ran City Blocks in the front and I-Beams in the back. I call it City-Beams!! LOL. Works the same but with 20% more all around traction.

Crimefighters have less forward bite, I might have to give them a try on the front. I have plenty of on-power steering but a mild pushing entering corners and I flipped the truck over forward several times while on the brakes yesterday. Maybe a little less forward bite will help with that.
