Default binding problem ??? ...

hi guys, just a quick question. i have just bought a 2nd sanwa receiver, unfortunately they shipped me the Sanwa RX-442DS reciever instead of the RX441DS receiver.

can i bind the transmitter TM-221DS with the 2nd new receiver RX-442DS (not RX-441DS) ? i am having trouble binding...

i am using the sanwa M8 trasmitter, my first set is working fine (TM-221DS & RX-441DS).

please help thanks in advance !

Hi Bad Mika,

You can try use the RX-442DS on "static" first and see what happens.
But I've been told that the RX-442DS is new receiver able to work with the new tx module from the M11"S" only. So I doubt it could work fine with the TM-221DS.

So try static first and if it doesn't work clearly, you will just have to send it back to where you get it.

Hope it will help you.
Cheers

Hi Slideaway,

Thanks for the advice... Just one question, what do you mean by 'static' ? ...

I have the TM-221DS/RX-441DS and the RX-442DS...

Thanks,
Best Regards
Mika

Sorry,

I mean you should try your current TX (the TM-221DS) with the RX-442DS on the car while its wheels are not touching the ground first to avoid any trouble.

According to my infos, the RX-442DS would not be compatible with the TM-221DS because this new receiver hasen't the same 2.4GHz signal.
It fits with the new M11"S" limited only (which inluded the new TM-221DA module).

Cheers

Good job discovering this after you bought it.

You haven't said what you are using the radio for so I don't know if you can use a 2 channel or 3 channel or 4 channel.

How are we to know what receiver you speak of? I am sure many people will be offering you great advice in response to your well thought out and concise post.

Well sorry for the confusing post but i am using it for a remote control car which is a associated RC8T. I didn't get to see everything when i purchased it. The receiver is model AIR92324. I can't get it to bind at all. I believe it is the wrong receiver for this transmitter, but I'm not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That receiver model is for the mx-3 FHSS radio. I don't know if it's compatible with the M11 FHSS-2, or FHSS transmitter modules. What transmitter do you have? Did you buy your radio new? Is this the receiver that came with it?
