yep...I can't get it out.......

interesting that you've had the problem ONLY with RB...

I wonder if they use a different compund in the casing and/or carb....

Anyone else have that problem with just RB's...

any other solutions?....Cause none are working so far..

heres RODY's answer to the problem..

That the carburetor of the .12 engines can get stuck into the crankcase is indeed possible, however this problem is increased due to the overtightening of the fixing nut of the carburetor.

If you tighten the fixing nut of the carburetor too much, you can create a burr at the neck of the carburetor which is inside the crankcase.
This burr then makes the aluminium solder itself and so it gets stuck.
The only way to get this out, is to spray some WD40(or some other very thin oil) at the fixed parts, heat-up the crankcase and then try to get it loose.

On the new V-Series .12 engines we have increased the diameter of the pin and nut, so there is more surface to lock the carburetor and normally there should be less problems.
However with this system when you overtighten the nut you can still damage the neck of the carburetor, so please be carefull.

The more you move-the worse it will be-AL/AL joints ones it stack, no way to get it out (also stainless steel/stainless steel).
To do not destroy case *(carb is gone already), you need very carefully take all internals from carb case and cut carb body piece by piece using side cutters. if you will try to move it more it will grab more-all soft Al alloys acting he same, to prevent it-before install it, just down size it with sand paper little bit and use nikkel antysieze by "loctite" (works great).
