Default Let's Revive This Crew! Calling for New Members!

I am back on after my move from the Central Valley CA. Living in Portland. Looks for other racers everwhere to share tips and hang out.

I am currently running a RC Lab 7 Even 6.0 Pro with Hi-tec electronics and Lynx 3D radio. My motor is a MVP. Have Cobra mod lathe. If there is any questions that I can answer, or if you just want to chat, let me know.

Hey, Paul did you get the message that I left you a while back? I wanted to know if I could use you for a recommendation, as I tried for a youth pastor position at a Korean church. It was so cool hanging out with you, and I wanted to be able to hang out with other Koreans too. I was offered the position, and will most likely accept tomorrow. I am meeting with another Korean Pastor tomorrow, and found out all the ins and outs of working in a Korean Church.

I am not sure that I will be able to start a club up right away, but I do see a couple of places that have tracks in the area. I will probably try to race there and then take some of the youth if they get into racing as much as we are.

Troy, that sounds like an awesome set up.

I thought that I would post some pictures of our new ride. Just bought my wife a 2002 Legacy GT Wagon. Here are a couple of photos. There is a little bit of ice on the car in the photos. (Part of the reason that we went with an AWD vehicle in the first place). I get to drive on all the long trips, and whenever we go anywhere together.

I get the Mercedes 190D, that she has been driving. My old Cadillac got sold in Merced, and brought in 1500. I put that down on the Legacy.

Default Speedo, what kind of Yok are you running?

Here is the rear view of the GT. I like the body kit that comes with it, including the skirts, and wing. I also like the Alloys. I don't know what I would do if were to try to spice it up at all. I just absolutely love that car. It is so stable and unfrantic, no matter what the weather is outside. It loves blazing down the freeway in the fast lane.

Yokomo MR-4 TC special edition

Will get pics up eventually when I paint another body and get my carbon fiber top deck made.

Looks nice cmotif!

You're talking about the iPod, those look really nice. Shame they're not making it for PC Seriously though, those palm pilots with built in MP3 players look tight! I wanna...LOL

Default Korean Church

Rich, I dont know much about Korean churches but my grandfather happens to be a retired minister from a Korean church up in seattle i believe. Dont know how he would recommend you though, or by what means. Good luck in any case.

Basically a recommendation would go something like this.

If you were asked the question, "If you lived in Portland, would you want Richard to be the youth pastor at the church that you attend (since you have seen some of his ministry before.)"

Don't worry about it, I think that I already have the position here.

There are a couple of hobby shops around that look like they have outside RC track. (Lame with this kind of weather!) But when they open up, I will try to get away from time to time and race.

Anyone have a Kyosho Mini-Z? How are they? I am thinking about getting into those, just because it would be easier to set up a course.
