40 and over correct. Although we need pre entires to be mailed in to ensure a class. I want to make sure we have a class so I can order trophies and treat the class the same as the rest.

Yeah, I've got 3 years to go before I qualify for "the old dudes" status (thank goodness).

This is the first time I heard complaints that someone was not old enough!!! Ha Ha!

I still have 2 years to go.............

Somehow racing against other "old dudes" makes me feel less emasculated than getting beat by kids 20-25 years my junior...

Hi Jimmy,
Happy to see the rules for the Slash class posted. One question in regards to the plugs (motor and battery) are we allowed to change them out to something other than the Traxxas battery plug and the old-school bullet style motor plugs?
Thanks
Steve Wang

Steve Wang - Yes, Feel fre to change plugs. I know alot of people have different plugs on their chargers so I don't see it being a problem. My main goal is to keep the class spec and to keep the cost down. I want someone who buys the truck to be able to head down to a track and compete with the same equipment that everyone else has without spending tons on hop ups, etc.

Thanks for the quick reply and clarification. Even though we are an aftermarket parts manufacture, I thoroughly believe that the "spec" class like what Hot Rod and some of the other tracks are doing is the perfect way to grow this class and generate it's popularity and visibility. I know quite a few my racing buddies are all getting more and more attracted to the Slash class and one of the main draw is the "Spec" aspect of it (in fact one guy went out and bought a Slash tonight and wants to race at the Reedy Truck race as well). I'm sure at some point we'll see an all out "Open" Slash class, but the Spec class's existence is a must as it allows for ease of entry and also provides a stepping stone for future classes as this category of racing continues to grow.
I'm very looking forward to the Reedy Truck Race
