2wd vs 4wd rear diff tightness?

2wd vs 4wd rear diff tightness?
As a general rule of thumb, in a 4wd car, the front diff is tighter than the rear.
Is the tightness of the diff in a 2wd and a 4wd REAR diff tightness similar for a given track?
Would you say that for a given track, the 2wd diff is more similar in tightness to that of:
A. the front diff of a 4wd car or
B. the rear diff of a 4wd car?
Just curious...
Thanks!

I would say (b) similar to the rear unless you run your rear diff on your 4wd to the point where it slips a little. You just dont want it to slip like stated above.

I have always bult the front and rear exactly the same, and I have never had a diff issue.
Tighten all the way 1/8 turn back.
Just my .02
