Default Rustler MM 5700 or VXL Rustler???

The question is the Rustler is approx. $160 and the VXL is $280.

Which would be the better choice in the long run:

Buy the VXL and change the Rec/Radio to 2.4Ghz

OR

Buy the Rustler, install a Mamba Max 5700 and 2.4Ghz Rec/Radio

I would use truck this for racing.....

Or just buy the E-Revo?????

????

I have a rustler vxl and an e-revo, and they are very diff types of cars. the e-revo is on a whole diff level, absolutely amazing with a novak 6.5hv combo + max amps 7.4v 8000mah lipos. my rustler has the max amps 11.1v 8000mah lipo and is insanely fast on paved surfaces. i never take the rustler vxl off road, it doesnt get any traction.

if you plan to race your new car, you cannot beat the e-revo. i immediately converted my revo to brushless/lipo so I cannot comment on out of the box performance. if you want to go really fast than the vxl rustler is your answer, but only on paved roads.

I dunno if I helped, but feel free to ask me any questions regarding these cars.

If you want to race get a xxx-t cr or t4. t4 if you are on a budget. Then you get to build it, and get the 2.4ghz radio and brusless motors.

Im running a mamba max 5700 set up in my XXX-CR and love it. Its simple to set up and adjust with the castle link. Allows you to easily dial the set up in for your driving and track through your computer.

If your on a budget You can also go with the sidewinder 5700 and save yourself a little money. It also has the castle link ability.

I would also suggest a XXX-T or T4 over a Rustler
