Thanks for the tip Jimmy, but unfortunately i dont know what you are referring to. Check the gap between the comm and the what? You mean shimming the arm? I normally make a light pass to true the comm, clean out the grouves, round the grouve edge with a ballpoint pen, spray out, reinstall arm. Iv done it 100 times and have never had a problem, but this monster is fairly new, and I think I have less then 5 or 6 cuts.

Might you elaborate a bit? I appreciate it...

On your motor comm there are 3 segmets of copper with 3 slits in the comm. Make sure that there is not a large gap beteween the slit. When you cut the Comm you have to take a exacto knife and run it down the slit to clean it out and then take a ball point pen and run it up and down the slit so that it is not sticking up but rounded down so the brush does not catch on the segment.

So jimmy is saying that maybe the comm is seperating? I always clean the grouve, then round it with a pen... If the comm is seperating, or if one grouve is larger then another (which I dont think it is) how do you fix that? or do you just buy a new arm.

If that is the case buy a new arm. I would not bother fixing it. It is just weird that it would do that to a brush.

WYD- My name is Paul. I race the GT3 class (TA04R & Surikan).I usually pit next to Tony Harrison. I haven't been to the track consistantly since the TCS race. My wife and I had our first child in April, so it has been difficult to get to the track. But, I'm planning to be a regular at the track again soon. I'd like to try the stock class. I had a blast at the TCS race in GT2. I think the Surikan will be competitive in stock class. I know a few guys are running them. See you at the track.

They come by mail right?
Not like UPS or other shiping companies, right?

I was pretty well confined until I handed my resignation letter if you know what I mean. Hopefully I'll reach Tokyo by the end of the month.

Just hit me up when you have time and are back by Tokyo again..

You are sure of this right?
If I were not there, then would they leave it(the package) at the house, or keep it until I was home?
Would they leave it with my neighbor?

Or just have they not come yet...?

I know that I sound like a frantic person right now, but I can't WAIT!!!!!!!!
hahahahahaha

They would probably either leave it on your door step or leave a note on your door. I don't have to worry about that. I have all my stuff shipped to my office. I get regular UPS and FedEx shipments every day.

I wonder if I could have had the batteries shiped to my classroom today...
rather than at home, then I would be avalable to get them.

Jon, how long did it take for the batteries to come to you?

(Jon, or is it John...?)
might have to look at past race results...
haha

It's Jon. Don't look at results, they always spell it wrong. I think both of my orders were placed on Saturday and I had them Tuesday. Most carriers are 1 day transit time to anywhere in Sothern Cal. Fed Ex has always been late on their residential delivery though. That's why everything goes to my office. Besides, even if when they do leave it on the door step, who wants their expensive stuff sitting out side. I'm sure if you're not there, they'll leave them for you though. Take a deep breath and relax. They'll get there before you need them.
