No no I dont think you know what Im asking. I will add this AUTO CUT OFF SWITCH to my 30amp bulb discharger, and use this equalizer (second link) to equalize my cells before charging.

No, I think he undeerstood your question, and the answer is that the tray is too low of a current draw. As in... your packs will be discharged too slowly on that tray.

Maybe you could use resistors with less resistance. Like say 5 watt ceramic resistors (since wattage=voltage x amperage) we can easily see that a resistor that displaces 5 watts will be drawing 5 amps when the cell is at 1.0 volts. 5 amps is about right for GP3300

Unhappy 1.17s all sold out again

Sorry guys, we got totally bombed with email since Jimmy announced those packs. A new record of 58 packs sold within 20 minutes. Then, after he announce it, he goes to lunch.

Anyway, looks like the batch we're working on will yield some nice numbers so please stay tuned and sorry to those who didn't grab it in time.

I do understand your question but since you're running a 30amp bulb, I don't think the auto-switch is capable of handling that. You might want to look into a military spec type auto-switch, but it'll cost you probably more then the tray. So, that was why I suggested you get the trays that are readily available in the market. Good luck.

I'll try to make it. Please ask Mark F to save me a spot in his tent so I don't have to bring mine. LOL

The Relay will handle over 350 watts. 30 amps at 12 volts =360 watts.

30 amps at 7 volts is only 210 watts.

I have used that exact relay with no problems.

He is such a brat at times. Did that to me once already. I'm not going to fall of it.
