Aka Hyper Man here. I like using my real name on forums, well my real nick name anyways! Parents tortured me by naming me after my Father, and a horrible name of Francis also! JR just has a better ring to it.

Also Nexus, I stole the logo I liked best and am using it as a avitar. If you would like me to remove it for any reason, just yell. I dont like to use then ask, but it was just too cool to wait for a response!

Should I go with fukuyama, or some chepie ones from www.cheapbatterypacks.com ? Im racing at MARCCA in wisconsin, and we only get around 4-5 people each night.....sedan is dying out. This is the only track next to me, should I go with fukuyama, or budget myself, since sedan racing might die out where I race

They come prematched, so what voltage should I expect?

For the money Dan's cells are hard to beat performance wise. The 1.150+ cells would be perfect IMO for what you need, and they are cheaper than the ones you mentioned. Also you at least know what you are buying, and if you ever have a problem or question Dan is the man(great customer service) and would help you how ever he or anyone here could! Product is easy to buy for great service isnt!

If I used these packs in the future, would I be able to keep up with the big guys (if there will be any... )? I mean how does 1.15v compare to 3000mah Panasonic Ultra Metal Hydrides? That is what the only fast guy on the track uses (but he also uses a different motor...)

Well if he is using those packs then the 1.150's should be a bit above his packs unless he got some killer packs and has maintained them very well for the length of time he has probally owned them. The newer cells average voltage are higher than the top voltage off of the 3000's and the older 3300's wether its sanyo, panasonic, or the older GP's. This is all based on if you can drive as well or better than him to begin with. If you arent as smooth, love to kiss the boards, the voltage wil be null and void.

GP adressed the same thing when Trinity claimed they had cells specifically made for them. I don't have the link but they put a disclaimer to the effect of, we have no exclusive deals and make no special cells for any company.

Hi Guys,

We'll be running a special with Fukuyama Racing Batteries this month. Just got it approve from Dan this afternoon. I'll announce it on here tomorrow and on the website.

A more educated response is that Orion uses a different matching setup as other matchers. No reason to flame another matcher.

yeah
numbers are kinda incapatiable between matching systems
the fact that most of the people think that CE's turbomatcher's number is standard doesn't mean other systems always lie, it's like they are speaking different languages
