I've been using the Hi-flo b4 body since January, and like it well. I can't tell a huge difference in the handling, but it gives you more room on the electronics, which keeps them cooler. Haven't tried the T4 yet, but will soon.

If I remember correctly... Buggys were using ground down pink tapers all around for when the track was wet... and then when it started to dry out, people were switching to new pink tapers up front with Pink BK Bars in the rear.. Right?

What about truck? Just a set of pink taper slicks for wet, and a regular set of pink tapers for when its dry? Just need to get the right tires this time.

Bschorr-That is correct on tires. The only thing I do differently, is run ground down 06 pinks on the buggy. I don't personally care for the 07's up front on buggy. You also might consider having a set of M3 Blades for the front of the truck. They seem to be a little smoother when the track dries out.

Mack, your talking about the 3-rib pre-scrubbed pinks for buggy fronts? Grind the ribs down!?

Yeah, when the track dries out.... instead of going to pink tapers all around, try BK bars with pink 3-rib pre-scrubs. I think Mack is suggesting you can grind the 3 ribs down some. Don't make them into slicks, just take off some more of the rib.

yeah, I actually take the ribs down just a little further. They seem to push a little when they are new, so I just square them up a little. Use a belt sander, just don't get them to hot, or they will gum up.

Anyone ever use Trinity Zip-Free traction compound at Chilli? I see some people use them at trackside.. Just wondering!

I've experimented with it in the past, and found no need for it.

I hope everyone signs up for Open Mod buggy so it doesnt leave anyone out.

Shouldn't be whining about a ceratin brushless motor when it comes to mod... Your Buggy could go 100mph or as slot as a rock crawler! its MOD!

Let's keep this thing on page 1. We are only 3 weeks from shearing off A-arms from the wicked traction at Chilli. Let's start a roll call from Each area. I think Iowa will have the following; Myself, Jrod, Rico, Brandon, Chris, Cam, Kurt Johnson, Kenny Paxton, Jake Ward, Dustin Peckam, Dave Darrow, Mike Sanders, Lee Patterson, John Bolton?, Anybody I may have missed? Let's take over the town!!!
