Default Gasket Needed?

I own a Nitro Tc3 RTR and i have tooken out the pull start and the plate because whenever i pulled it it kept on skipping every time i started to start the car. The gasket was damaged so i read that it needed to be replaced. Im on running low on time im leaving early tomorrow on a trip for the memorial day weekend and going there for about 4 nights and i want to take my car with me? the thing is i dont have an extra gasket can it be run without it? will it damage anything? What should i do please reply A.S.A.P thank you

Also can i use after run oil to but in the one way bearing? or should i use diff lube? Thank you

Wow!

Memorial Day weekend already? You should have plenty of time before then.

Engine without a gasket would get overheated very easily. Don't ruin your engine this way. Get the gasket and install it properly. Inspect your air filter, make sure it's clean, observe and inspect to see if there is any air leaks.

enjoy and have a happy Labor Day!

Default Gasket Needed

drive4fun;

Engines are basicly miniature Air Pumps so if there was a Gasket to begin with, it needs to be there and in good shape or an Air Leak will result.

Don't use diff lube on the Pull Starter One-way Bearing. A drop or 2 of after-run is good. The Bearing gets oiled from the fuel leaking out the bushing, but too much will gum it up and then they slip. (Common with Traxxas Vehicles).
