I just got reply questioning for about special order. I think I'll just wait for the version 2 to come out. Too dangerous to do mod by meself. Don't want to waste two hundred dollar chassis.
Did I mention Xtreme have excellent customer servie.
At this time to machine a special chassis is not out of the question but custom machining is very expensive since it has to do a special set on the machine along with all the CAD time to redesign it. One offˇ¦s start at around $500+ depending on the nature of what you are wanting to do (sorry, it is not cheap due to down time to set up the machine).
What I would recommend is purchasing the chassis and modifying it by hand if you wanted something like this. The chassis that I make does move the batteryˇ¦s a couple of millimeters closer to the center. You can move them closer by modifying it yourself. The slots are this close so that battery cups can be used by others that have stick packs.

No they are all the same. Some of the seconds may have got made out of a different material (still very stiff) but all the production chassisˇ¦s are made out of the same core material so that the black and silver are both the same stiffness.

Looks as if one could mount the front bumper of the NTC3 on this chassis, right ?

Yeah, that battery mod is the one Diva. I'm gonna start shaving up my silver carbon TC3 chassis this weekend
I do beleve that the car can use a NTC3 bumper too, but I dont have one to try it out....i'll see if I can grab one from the LHS
What kind of chassis is that KO Racer? Dosent look like a warp speed...

Cool...thats a real nice setup. I realy like the morot/bearing mount assembly...looks real streamlined....and the two seed, oh, good lord! =) How much JPY does it retail for?
The only thing that I can come up with that kit you showed and the other center deck focusing aftermarket kits out there is there there is no provision for torsional flex(if your grab both bumpers with each hand and twisted in opposing directions) The main reason I like the Xtreme chassis is that it effectively set's itself up in a tub style layout but without the tub. The lay out prevents both flex from front to back and side to side, making it super stiff.
Maybe it's overkill to have a chassis that stiff, but in the racing world....there is no such thing as overkill
