The outdoor track has been changed/fine tuned already. The flow of the track goes something like this:
Long straight, table top with 180 degree turn into a double double, into a 180 corner, into a large triple, into a 180 corner, after rounding this corner you have a large quad followed by a 90 turn into several moguls, then through a four corner shucain and back down the long straight.
The track is very technical, but we have been fine tuning it each week and by the time the race gets here it will be very driveable. The picture above is very close to what the track looks like, only a few tweaks since that picture was taken. Expect a fast flowing track with several sections to test your control skills.
The track is a hard pack surface consisting of a clay/sand/loam mix. When its dry its a bit dusty, when its wet its sticky. We water between races, and blow the dust off it between rounds. Best tires choices for the outdoor track are Double D's, Goosebumps, or IFMAR Pins. Directional ribs work well for front tires, but you can also go with a tire like the Panther Switch Soft and get good results. If we have to race indoors the only change is rear tires should be Panther Clay or Holeshots to get a good bite.

I got the opportunity to race at Battle Front last week when I went home to visit family. The track is awesome and the people there are really nice. I cant think of a better place for the ROAR Region 5 Race. Jason Jakubczyk is FAAAST and will be hard to beat in the modified classes.

We have a good size group that will show up from Detroit which is 3 hours away. Got at least one from California that should be showing up to (you know who you are Mr. Pillars). We do have a cheap hotel for out of towners to stay at $32 a night. Get a couple guys to make the trip with you, always makes it easier to handle. Going to be a good time though thats for sure.
You could always take the car ferry over from Milwaukee to Muskegon. That only takes 1 hour 45 minute and then your only a 40 minute drive to get here!
