I have been looking at the time and most , if not all people, have not even one full 10 minute run at speed. They pull the cars in and adjusts stuff or just come off for some reason.

Let's see if I get this correct...

You need to make the A main of the ROAR nationals, or get invited...

If I have this incorrect, someone please correct me...

You get an automatic bid if you make top 30 in the nats.... It should be easier to get in if the worlds are at a different country since Ifmar allocates so many spots for different sections of the world...

Dont get to excited. A good number of the top 10 hopefulls wont even have transponders in yet.
Once qualifying starts things will get a little more serious. Hopefully PJ can emulate 2006.

I hope everyone has been using transponders, since the times in the practice heats decide which heat they will start in.

Each Bloc (ROAR, EFRA, FEMCA, FARMAR) gets allocated a certain number of spots by IFMAR. The blocs will then allocated a number of spots to each country within the Bloc. Countrys have a qualifying process through various races such as Nationals, State or Regional Titles etc. Drivers are awarded points based on qualifying & final positions at these events. Then the spots are filled according to these positions. If spots are not filled then each bloc can reallocate to other countrys. Ultimatly any spots not filled usually end up back with the host country.

rcabj, we are about 8 hours in front of Portugal. So I guess we can pretty much see the live timings in the evenings.

RedRC will start their reporting on their Monday onwards.. prob can see some updates later in the evening or late night.

They just finish their practise runs.. i think.
