The car should never run on the bump stops. As soon as the car hits the stop the suspension will become solid all of a sudden and you will lose heaps of grip.
You should only hit the bump stops momentarily, use them for protection when riding the kerbs or the biggest bumps, not in normal cornering.
If you want to run soft springs/lots of chassis roll but have problems with bottoming throughout the high speed corners, raise the ride height.

actualy you are totaly wrong on low grip surfaces with high speed corners this works in theory raising the ride height will only change your grip level by lowering it, if you used a plastic spacer instead of an o ring yes it would have an abrupt effect such as a bump stop.I am only talking about 1 o ring and i have aided in winning 4 national events so whats your story,and if you were riding curbs or the biggest bumps you wouldnt use and o ring and we are talking about a smooth surface such as asphalt with a touring car.
