Default cause I like to quote crap...

Onroad 19T
5-55: Rebuildable 19T “Super Stock” motor armatures must be machine-wound using a cross wrap technique. The legal 19T “Super Stock” wind is a minimum of 1170mm of round 19 AWG (American Wire Gauge) wire, having a maximum wire diameter (including insulation) of .914mm, resulting in no less than 19 continuous turns of wire on each pole. There is no tolerance on the minimum length of wire, nor is there a plus tolerance allowed on the wire diameter.

Stock
5-37: All rebuildable stock motor armatures must be wound using a "Mabuchi" cross wrap technique, and a process that locks the commutator and the armature stacks so that the timing cannot be changed without disassembling the motor. The legal stock wind is a minimum of 64 inches of round 22 AWG (American Wire Gauge) wire, having a maximum wire diameter (including insulation) of .67mm, resulting in no less than 27 continuous turns of wire on each pole. A production tolerance of one turn on one pole only is allowed. There is no tolerance, however, on the minimum length of wire, nor is there a plus tolerance allowed on the wire diameter.

I have another question about a chameleon 2 pro i bought used not to long ago...i took it apart to clean everything and the arm magnets have 4 good size drill holes in each part...12 in all. i know someone had to do this themselves, but what does it do for the performance?

Rcnitrodude,
Sounds like someone got crazy with the drill and dremel tools. It is highly illegal to drill out the armature to lighten it up. Although it will give you a faster spool up time you will probably throw the balance of the arm off so bad you will not reap the benefits, especially 12 holes. Like i said before, it is an illegal motor and will not pass any Roar tech inspection at major races.

yes.....R40 baby.....can't wait to run it - I had pretty bad luck last season with 710.
and yep, .I'm going to Snowbirds. I think we have our 415s pretty good. Arun and GA boys are up there at Novak right now....and we will see if their Tamiyas can get at least in B main - 19T.....

Buy regular chameleon pro arm and put in C2 can
this combination is the best so far.
...of course....hemi wound is better.....no cross wrap for me!!!!!
Oh, try F brushes from EA Motorsports too...awesome....

Kumpol, what’s up bud?

Yeah, I got some F brushes coming – wanna try them out as well.

Sutton called me the other day. He is working on his new car. Proteus is a hack! Don’t waste your time talking to him

Hope you have no one that you know down south near Phuket. Just spoke to my Mom 2 days ago, horrible!

Any how, as far as a 19T motor I’m still running a good old Promatch – its still pulling 114 watts on the DYNO…

Maybe sometime in the summer I’ll ask Sutton if he wanna go down to GA with me.

Later

LMAO!!!!!!!! I'm gonna lap you this weekend......You just got bumped from the bottom of the list to the top of my cut list....ahead of Teach! CYA! Hey...when you go down to Atlanta...let me know. I've been trying to get away to make it there for quite some time. Besides...it will give me an excuse to visit my cousin there....they live literally 5 min from Fernando's track.

Kumpol, I'm running a Chameleon Pro and was curious to what a C2 can was? What about the spring combo. Thanks!

Regular Chemeleon Pro arm and Chameleon 2 can.
Springs? depend on what brushes you put on.
I have 767 with verticle slot and purple spring for each side.

Thanks! I run 767s too, so I'll give the purple springs a shot. Are the vertical serations just for breaking in or is it actually to help with torque or RPM?
