CORR doesn't run the Borgwarner Shootout anymore. The sanctioning body known as the World Series of Off-Road racing does. Just FYI.

If you're talking to me, I'll give you one guess which one is Jessica Alba.
I'm guessing the other "parolees" are a couple of her hollywood-type friends.

you really should get out more, not everyone considers 250lb-ers as hot

(quiz answers = from left to right: Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, and Eva Longoria)

Judging someone by their post count - lame.

I've been around at least long enough to know that you've changed your name from oldschoolracer, then Rocketrob40 who got suspended and now are rocket-mtrsprts. wheee!

mentioning strippers in three separate posts and posting your family portrait (3 a$$es)...is your idea of contributing to this AE truck thread, great! Look at me! I can dig up lame pics! I am cool!

If being a friend of yours is considered "making friends" on this board then I'd rather have enemies.

I feel sorry for you.

Don't they still do the Jason Baldwin cup money race though where they give the 2WD trucks a head start, or is that WSORR now too?

The Baldwins own CORR...so that would be CORR.

This slash is cool for corr truck racing but why does nobody like the losi desert truck? It is the xxx t with a roll bar which has been said in this thread, there for why dont they let the losi truck race with the slash class a think it will dominate let alone that the xxx t chassis has won many events before i think losi has a little better advantage with the rtr dersert truck cause it is based on a racing truck.

because it doesn't look like a CORR truck, or anything else in real life.

Yeah, the Losi truck still has the wheels sticking out of the sides away from the body, etc...it's not a CORR truck.

I really wonder, if AE's CORR truck (if that is what they're doing, as it appears) will totally outperform the Slash as a racer and create a situation where they can't really run fairly together in a spec class. I think that'd be unfortunate and it sure seems like they'd be shooting themselves in the foot, because the Slash has had a really quick adoption rate and the class has taken off at most tracks. I can't see people rushing out to get an AE truck if it couldn't run with the Slashes in a CORR class.

http://www.rc10.com/

Looks like Associated is making a CORR type truck. Awesome, my first off road truck in over 8 years. Look at the ad.

I'm kinda surprised Losi hasn't publicly put any effort into making one. Lately they've been the ones to crank out a new something or other every five minutes.

Associated beating Losi to getting a new chassis on store shelves, that'd HAVE to be a first

I think you're way off. I know I'm new to the forums, but what got my back into RC after 10 years was the cost of the Slash. You can't beat it for the amount of fun.

I already went down the serious racer crap in sedan years ago, not looking for that again. That is the other appeal of the Slash class, charge the battery and race it. I think there are a lot more people then you think that just don't feel like constantly tweaking their trucks.
