As far as the shock, I always felt that raising the shock makes the car turn more on power and vice versa. That was what I found with 1/12 cars. With the long wheelbase of the F1, it seems to help, but I think it is mostly personal preference.

The stock/inline knuckles seem to get a twitchy feel if conditions are right where the trailing knuckles seem to have a smoother feel.
This is a general statement from what I have noticed a my local indoor carpet track.....
Hope this helps!

The offset/trailing knuckles provide less steering entering(off power) a corner and more steering(on power) exiting a corner.

Hate to be that guy that asks a question that has probably been answered... but... I'm at work and am heading to the hobby shop when i'm done.
Last time i was there i noticed he had some Tamiya F1 "B" tires, front and rear in stock. Worth picking up for my car or should i look elsewhere. He actually had two sets of each. I'll be running silver can on concrete.
Thanks in advance!!!

Hey all,
This may have been covered already, but what is involved in fitting an Orion 2400 lipo in the F103 chassis? I notice the pack is much longer, so do you use tape, modify the original mount, or is there a new mount for this style pack?
Thanks for the help.
My car is an F103RS, if it helps.

Painting Wings & Rims
I am painting a new livery and want to paint my wings & rims a different colour. Right now they are brand new, all black, might be painting blue or white, and rims silver. I guess same goes with the helmet...
Has anyone done this before? Will the Spray Can PC paint (for lexan bodies) be okay or should I use something like Testors Model paint, but what type of paint? Enamel, Acrylic, or Lacquers?

Cross Racing has front and rear wings moulded in red, yellow, blue, white and black. Here is the info (scroll down to about mid page):

HBR Foams?
Are the HBR type foams new (84097 and 84096)? what's the difference with "regular" foams (84094 and 84095)?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have seen a lot of different servos, but I ended up using a Futaba 9650. Mostly because I had a spare. It takes a little work to get the location and height correct though. I mounted mine flat to the chassis. If I did it again, I would raise the servo a touch to reduce the bump steer.
