Not sure on that K-Factory tank. Check the way the tank slots under the driveshaft, negating the ability for a rollover/carry handle. You may be able to jury-rig something, but O'm not sure

Phone call to Rockhampton and $24 (AUS) and 24 hrs later and I have a new tank.

Guy told me not to screw it so tightly. Gives the tank a bit of play when it takes a hit.

Thanks for the reply nightmare and sup.

You don't want to have too much play in the tank. The, the vibration will cause the fuel to foam. Don't try to thread the screws thru the tank. Try placing some o-rings or a really small sliver of fule tubing between the tank and the chasis, then thread the screws in. That should do it

The owner of Hong Nor Mr. Wu answering questions for LD-3 at other forums. They are in chinese, but you can ask him in english. LD-3 owners want to ask him questions, let me know. I'll give you his email. They provide great service. BTW, I got my champ from him too.

aku-man, can you ask him for me what associated parts (or even kyosho parts like screws coz the ld3 uses metric screws, etc.) will fit the ld3? as of now, we are having problems with parts as of the moment. the only options we have is to order from hongkong or try our local hobby shop that distributes associated products (and another that distributes kyosho parts) here. it was discussed above that the kyosho centax might work on the ld3 too, i hope the centax of the fw05 would fit coz it is low.. and, any news on your champ kit? thanks!

Hongnor is testing their new centax now.
They want to improve their bad trust bearing and use fine pitch.

How many people have had the thrust bearing fail?

If mine gives problems I may get the "HPI R40 Thrust Bearing 4x9x4MM HPI-B036" one... I have a spare Hong Nor one though

I'm thinking US$200 + shipping. It has the centax clutch, 3mm chassis, and may be some other options that are not include in the US Pro version. Here's one more pic...
