As a newbie I would recommend a Mazda6 or Dodge Stratus 3.0 (Protoform or HB Moorespeed)

These are both 'safe' handling shells that will help you learn (I still use them).
I find the Mazda Speed6 variants too twitchy and harder to setup.

not all same some might be but not all do be careful but protoform is good and have a good range so you can compare bodies! if you go a different brand then you should stick to varying types of there bodies otherwise you will have no comparison! eg you get a balanced downforce body and slighty more agressive body then a very aggressive body eg mazda 6
