It is most likely leaking from the throttle slide boot. If not torn, you can try greasing where the boot meets the carb, or put a zip tie around.

hey johnny t.
thanks for the advice. after u said that i noticed their was alot of gunk(fuel) around that area and by the air filter boot. i will give ur advice a try. thanks alot

run a ttr 2035 pipe with it. Bottom end pipe. It will run alot cooler and a rb turbo 6 plug. I ran Byron's 30% and didn't put the head shim. I also ran the jp-2 and it ran a lot hotter. so far the ttr 2035 is the best pipe for it in my losi 8 buggy
