Hehehe sweet eh? It always feels good to have motor on the field. But then you go to certain events like a few of the socal boys who are used to motoring the field only to find out that they're lacking and it's like wtf?!?! oh well.

"grimlock - would you care to tell us what sedan you're running? It's kinda helpful to figure stuff out if we know, but in my tc3 im running 8.57 final drive. But that's for a tight track, so you could probably gear it at a 8.00."

hi, i have a xxx-s sport that i recently purchased. i want to use a rebuildable stock motor instead of the 19t epic can it comes with. i have not even run the kit yet, i am waiting on some batteries. i am just bashing for now. the monster stock pro seems to be a good motor to get me going and build up my tuning experience.

I kinda like my motors around .27 for my touring car. I feel thats when they're the fastest with a good amount of torque. But in my 12th scale, the smaller the better ! Because you don't need any torque in 12th scale really, and so the smaller comm just gives you more rpm, but at a slight loss in torque.

Grimlock I think you'll be fine gearing your monster around 8.00 final drive for bashing. Or mabey a little taller (bigger pinion gear).

Talking hey guy's

I also run one these and I got mine used so I was a little leary so I asked the guy what i should gear and he told me 8.0 or better...my eyes just about popped out of my head cause that was like a 4 tooth difference in my pinnion but I took it out and I ran so fast the big guy's wanted to check my motor I did nothing to this motor but stick it in my car.....I was pretty sure I read that the motor really wakes up after it has been cut a few times...so maybe that is the case with mine but man is it fast
