Default Help! Stuck Carb!

On my 3.5cc engine, my carb is stuck. Its a slider carb. I bought the buggy at a Swap Meet for $75. Everything else works perfect, except the carb! Iam currently sooking the carb in Deep Crep (Like WD-40). But its still not working. If the carb does not get unstuck, can i just buy another carb instead of a new engine?

Any advice on how to get a stuck carb unstuck?

Thanks
Blake

Is the idle speed screw REALLY tight?

undo the screws for the low end, you should then be able to pull the slide out for the carb (possibly the mid range) and pull that out. look to see if there are any burrs on it! sometimes the slide will catch in the carb causing the carb to stick! take a dremel and cut a tiny bit of to allow it to slide in n out

let us know!

where the ball cup attaches to the needle of the moter(part that comes out for gas) and if there is a mid range it would be on the other side of that...take a picture of the carb and post it....so i can tell you....or email it to [email protected]

i am going out to dinner but i will check back

If everyone would remove their idle screws and sand the tips down smooth this would not happen to so many people.
