I had a Dynamite Vision Peak 2 that kept blowing fuses as soon as it was plugged in about a year ago. Today I decided to take it apart and take a look at it again. I am sure it was the transformer that was causing it. I think it burnt up. The one sitting alone is what came out of it and I tore the top layer off to look inside. Well I had a extra much older charger that the timer is broken on so I took the transformer out of it and wired it to the dynamite. Well now it doesn't blow fuses as soon as I plug it in like before. But before I try to charge a batter I need to know if this is safe or not? I am gonna heatshrink the naked wires and put everything back together before doing so though.

Some pics:

Dude, that is a really cheap charger. Why not just buy another one, that way you don't have to worry about burning down you house or track?

Toss that thing before you hurt yourself or someone else. It is not worth it imo.

you can't just mix match transformers without matching their capacities

a different spec transformer will at best not function correctly, and at worst make your stuff catch fire

Fire it up and see what happens.

Then post some pics of the firemen in action.
