Thanks for the tips. I don't have many Tamiya spring sets and no blues at all. I do have a large selection of RC Lab springs from when I ran an RC Lab 7even sedan. Checking my spring charts, the Tamiya blue are 14.08 lbs|in and yellows are 13.33 lbs|in. I have RC Lab light green at 13.8 lbs|in and RC Lab reds at 13.3 lbs|in that I can use instead.

I actually think HPI pinks up front and silvers in the rear are money on most carpet tracks

I made one fill-able out of a 03 and 03D sheets. Unfortunately, I did it at work and won't be able to post it until Monday.

On another note...

Anyone have a TB-03 available for sale? I am looking for a second for TCS next season and would like to get started on it soon.

Found another 03 locally. Thanks to everyone who sent offers.

I could use the old tires, not enough practice excuse here, but I won't.

I went with a set of the Tamiya Mica Black spring set and used blue springs in front and Tamiya yellow springs in the rear.

Did you try blue/blue as well? Either way, how the car feel?

Default Hopups

Does anyone have a list of the hop ups for this car both Tamiya and aftermarket?

I doubt anyone's put together such a list as it would be quite large. If it helps, here is what I have added to by base TB03

Tamiya 54094 Spur gear adapter
3Racing TB03-06 Graphite rear shock tower
3Racing TB03-05 Graphite front shock tower with aluminum brace
3Racing TB03-04 Shock tower aluminum brace
Tamiya 54097 Carbon steering link
Tamiya 42216 Dual cardan CVD set
Tamiya 54052 Aluminum shaft set
Tamiya 54095 Aluminum racing steering set
Tamiya 54125 Front spool
3Racing TB03-15 Alloy motor mount
Tamiya 54053 RC TB-03 Aluminum Propeller Joint Set (Rear)
Yeah Racing Aluminum Servo Mount Set #FF03-039BU
Tamiya 54054 RC TB-03 Aluminum Motor Adapter
Yeah Racing Graphite battery strap #FF03-021G

I also replaced all the bolts with stainless hex types using a generic kit from Yeah Racing.

Hello TB drivers/owners.

I know it's a tb03 thread, but if the are some evo iv owners i have some info:

I just finished a nice evo iv project to update the car to a nowadays compatible car.

First update:
- Complete 418 suspension and steering blocks.
- Gear diff in the rear
- TB-04 Spool in the front
- New gears from tb04/evo 6 in the complete car

Second update:
New carbon narrow bottom chassis, 2.25mm (lipo ready, also shorty) smaller then original, including balancing holes.
New carbon Top deck(2.25 and 1,6 version), smaller like evo 6 (more space for lipo)
New floating servo-mount to fit the narrow chassis.
New carbon top-steering brace (to adjust steering-control)
New carbon rear low-schock-tower, to fit the new low profile shocks
New carbon front low-schock-tower, to fit the new low profile shocks

All the parts are working great on the car, first race with the car i could TQ the stock (17.5) class and take the win in all triple A-mains.

If there are some people who are interested in these parts please let me know.

Best regards, Eric

I've been itching to fix up my Evo4. Got any pics or more info on the chassis?
