Hi!
Compared to 53440 spring set, how does the stock kit springs (with the mini CVA shocks) compare in hardness? It seems to feel between yellow and blue in hardness to me.
I got the carbon link for the steering already, but it seems that I still have play. On examination, I can observe the steering links have play up and down and a little back to front. Is this normal and is there any improvement shimming it out or getting the alloy steering set?
Thanks!
Any thoughts?

Ran the TB03 at the Speedtech Grand Club race in 17.5 sportsman. Placed sixth in the a main, although I was battling for 3rd. Couldn't ask for a better performance. I couldn't for the life of me keep the ta05 on the track for gt10. ^_^ I got so frustrated that I just pulled it after about 5 flips in 9 laps. Definetly loving the tb03.

Shimming up these cars too much usually makes the handling go wacky. If you shim, shim light. The slop in these cars is what makes them so easy and fun to drive.

TB-03 fdr
Hi is there a fix to get the fdr of the TB-03 down to 4.0, I'm using the chassis in vta and would like to know if you can gear it down to or around 4.
I currently have the 96t 0.4 spur and with the 51t pinion it gets it down to 4.58. I would like to go lower for the 21.5t.

Hi guys,
I need your help, I have to admit.
since switching to 17,5t class with my TB03R, I lost success.
Problem is, I have not enough steering, since changing to spool.
So went back to spec-R gear diffs with 300.000 oil fr, 1000 rear.
But still, im lost in U turns and tight corners, i cannot get a small radius.
Itried many spring combinations, HB and Tamiya. But running on our carpet,
itīs a disaster. I was even quicker with my TT01 running in the silvercan class on our tight track last sunday.
I know, I should post my complete setup, but if you have some ideas to try,
please let me know. I lose the fun in this car at the moment...
Thanks for your help,
Matthias

Quick question, will the suspension blocks from a 415 fit on the TB03??

Actually you can't flip 1X, 1A, 1B blocks due to the fact they are slightly thicker so the shims won't properly seat. You'll have to trim it. The 1XA - 1XD are good since they have seats for the shims. 1C and beyond have enough room for the shims.

who runs Castle productions in there TB03? Looking for suggestions
So my question is what motor Kv or turn rating do you guys reccomment. Its gong to be for parking lot bashing, (There is no class here for on road touring... just pan cars, M series tamiya, and Short Coarse on/off road). I run Castle Sidewinders and Mumba's ecs's on 2 cell Lipo with 5700 series motors in all my other trucks.
Id like to be able to set this car up to run either 2 cell or 3 cell Lipo. Any insite to gearing and motor selections? faster the better, but I want to be careful of overheating. Id prefer to stick with Castle just because its what my other 3 veheicles have.
Thanks for any help

I've been looking at getting a TB03 and am curious if you are limited to spur and pinion size like the TT-01?
