Well that is all going to depend on gearing, how long you run, and what you are doing with it.

We had a guy running 1/8th buggie with 4s with the Mamba Max. He had a fan on it and a few holes drilled into the case. After a 6 minute race he was right around 160 degrees. Not too bad for a speedo that isn't designed to do that. The Monster Max will be better suited for applications like you are doing but the Mamba Max can work but not suggested use for it.

Default race

i am going to be racing this truggy on a medeum/large track, i am putting a big fan with holes in the esc. the gearing choices i orderd are 13/46 and 12/46. i basicly want to run as long as possible. any other cooling suggestinos? i would love to run 14 min at a time but is that impossible with the esc.

im not getting a mmm because i have a friend that has burnned up 3 of these along with 2 lipo packs. and i will not take that risk

The internal, linear BEC will be the major cause of heat in a MM on 4S. If you use an external, switching BEC along with the other mods you mentioned you should be able to run as long as your battery still has juice.

Regarding the gearing, it is difficult to just give numbers without looking at the whole package. Internal gearing and motor rpm will have a huge impact on gearing choices.
