No, that replaces your roll bar on top of the 2 speed.

Thumbs up FW05 v V1RR

I've owned every V1S/R/RR and plan on sticking with it through the Evo.

Here's a pic of what started as a V One S. I've retired it although I continue to add hops as I can.

Waiting for the Conversion Kit to come out [in a lower price] before the upgrade to the Evo. You gotta love the lay down sterring servo!

Just thought I'd share, since Kyoshos in the US aren't that common or at least in my area.

Default wider selection of pipes?

Salutations Earthlings!
so far as far as i can tell, there aren't that many pipes available.
there are 3 pipes from kyosho:
-Tuned Silencer (5.2mm/Polished) No.VSW017
-Tuned Silencer (5.2ƒ³/Black) No.VSW010
-Tuned Silencer (7.0ƒ³) No.VSW011

from O.S. engines:
- T1031

i also found these pipes from some random Japanese OEM company:
-‚P‚O‚P?@‚l?D‚l‚‰‚…‚Œ‚‹‚…?@‚f‚oƒc?[ƒŠƒ“ƒOƒJ?[—pƒtƒ‰ƒ“ƒWƒ}ƒtƒ‰?[?iFW-05—p?j

?E‚U‚?‚?ƒ}ƒtƒ‰?[ƒZƒbƒg?iƒ}ƒjƒz?[ƒ‹ƒh•t?j

’θ‰Ώ??‚T‚O‚O‚O?¨??‚S‚T‚O‚O
?E‚U‚?‚?ƒ}ƒtƒ‰?[’P•i

‚n‚d‚l‚ΕŽΐ?Ρ‚Μ‚_‚ι‚l?D‚l‚‰‚…‚Œ‚‹‚…ŽΠ?»‚ΜFW-05—pƒtƒ‰ƒ“ƒWƒ}ƒtƒ‰?[‚Ε‚·?B‘εŒaŽd—lƒ}ƒjƒz?[ƒ‹ƒh‚Ε?AŒϋŒa‚T‚?‚?‚Μ•ϋ‚ΝŽΐ?Ρ‚Μ‚_‚ιEFRA2501‚Μ‰E?o‚΅ Žd—l‚Ε‚·?B

translated by babelfish as:
-101 M. The flange muffler for the Mielke GP touring car (for FW-05)
5mm muffler set (the manifold to attach) price XXYEN 7900 -> XXYEN 7110
6mm muffler set (the manifold to attach) price XXYEN 7900
-> XXYEN 7110
5mm muffler single item price XXYEN 5000 -> XXYEN 4500
6mm muffler single item price XXYEN 5000 -> XXYEN M where it has the result with 4500 OEM.
It is the flange muffler for FW-05 of the Mielke corporation make. With the large diameter specification manifold, the aperture 5mm is the right putting out specification of EFRA2501 which has the result.

these jap pipes are all in-line pipes, which i kinda like a lot better...
i wonder which company makes them though...
and just where i can get my filthy, grubby hands on one....

do you guys feel a bit left out with the choices of pipes?
not many peeps make pipes for righty cars.
comments anyone?

That Kawahara conversion kit looks great ! they swapped the engine from the right to the left !! But wouldnt this fundamentally change something in the car ? The are basically redesigning it - new chassis , servo positions ... etc - will it be as good as the original FW05R ?

Still anyone know where one could get their hands on this conversion kit !!?

And can you list the url for the kai website. Thanks

hmm can't see too much from the small picture but i think it just means you can use any pipe you have. the servo seems further in the middle which i would assume changes the weight distribution. same with the streering...

suspension hasn't changed at all i don't think. cant see where the battery is but the receiver seems more vulnerable than before laying on the side like that.

would have been cool if they had laid down the throttle servo

i'm guessing the battery is now a hump pack laying in between the receiver and the engine?

and the brakes are on the back side of the chassis now?

The Kawahara conversion definitely looks interesting...

so how long until we get the FW05R - Evo ?
