simple question really, what's the best hard case lipo pack for racing currently available?

also whats the highest milliamps available? i'll be racing lipo 10.5 turn soon here in OZ and the rules require hard cases, which should i get? money isn't a concern, as long as it isn't a ridiculous amount.

preferably the packs should have corraly plug type connections, simply because it looks cleaner

will be using in a moorespeed edition HB, and i have a brushless motormount coming if that's any help

also what's a good balancer i can get?

Sounds like the Trakpower 4900 is what youre after. Cant go wrong with the
V-Balancer either.

Go with the CORE 5000 and also the CORE Charger/ Balancer. Both excellent.

SMC 4000 dude. Nick and I bouth bought them. In 10.5 you'll only be using about 3200mah in a heat so anything bigger is overkill. The SMC is thin too so you wont have to mod the cyclone to make it fit. There's a 5000 too but it's larger and heavier

+1, you wont need the extra mah but the pack is heavier which will mean less weight you will need to add to the car. It has the built in plug like you want and it rips.

Everything Ive seen is that the top 3 packs are the Trakpower, SMC and Core.

Not True, more is not overkill.

Do the math, you will see that a LiPo pack with higher capacity will maintain higher average voltage over a 5-min race.

For example at the end of 10.5 brushless 5-min race your voltage would be:

3600mah Lipo = 7.35V
5000mah LiPo = 7.64V
8000mah LiPo = 7.93V

So you tell me, what battery would you want to have in your car? The highest capacity that will fit.
