My experience is if you are doubting the car is the right choice go with the car you think is the right choice. You can never go wrong with a Mugen. You know you want it.

I have eaten a rear belt on a high grip surface myself. The urethane belts may help.
Have you tried the urethane belts yet? I have a set just havent worn my old ones...for some reason my belts look great. Even on my old r40, I took them off and they look fine. Hopefully it stays this way.

Default virtual r/c

Has anyone played virtual R/C. I'am new at it,but it seems that the R-40 feels better thant the kyosho RRR and the serpent 710. Is it just me, or does anybody feel the same? This is with the stock set-up...

I think its more like a personal preferance thing....cuz I have pretty similar laptimes with all the cars at stock settings in VRC.

The only difference between the different brands of chassis in VRC is the final drive ratio. I'm not sure if the stock setups are the same, but they will all handle the same on the same setup.

Heres a pic of my R40. I still need an engine, pipe, and a few small things to finish everything up, but up until now everything has gone together very smoothly.

Urethane belts? Do you have a part# for that. Didn't know they came out with new belts.

Not much, lost our parking lot racing to some dumbass company who is using the parking lot for storage, the racetrack is not ready, so I'm bashing around with my sportswerks mayhem buggy, check it out. I have a WASP .28 turbo engine in it and it hauls ass!!! that's about it...

Awesome! It's funny how I've gotten outta 8th buggy and more into the R40, and lately you've done the opposite. :-D

Yeah I know what you mean, but I like more presicion driving like the R-40, but I don't have a place big enough to bash with all my friends. I was the first to get the R-40 in Guatemala and I got 5 of my friends to buy and prep R-40's too, but now they bought some ofna buggies, kyoshos triple 777 and we are bashing around with the offroad's for a while
check out this pic of some rides.
