i dunno if it would affect aerodynamics thatt bad. The engine would be in a similar downward sloping profile as the roof end of the s2000. i for one want to try one of those out.. looks sick

Woah. Been wondering how come I haven't gotten any replies from here. Anyway still looking for a linkages to use. Figured I'd use the stock body mounts that attach to the shocks. However, even if I am successful the only thing missing is the pivot action as there is a rod that can move up and down through the rear shock tower. I also noticed on the XR8 you can adjust the linkage from the rear hubs to 2 other spaces. Never really seen it on other 8th onroads. Welp, let me run back to see what I can do since today isn't really a good day for bashing.

Whats a good cheap 3 port motor I can use on the R40?

I need to get a new motor before next months races. Or Ill probably be worrying about my motor flaming out as well they might not let me run my 5 port turbo.

AI- I would definately go with this engine OStz .12 3 port...

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJFY8&P=ML

It's a t towers, but it's at $250 USD I know it's a bit expensive at the time, but my R-40 buddies here in Guatemala already ordered 3, so I guess depending on the performance that could be my next engine...

Go for the sts d3 or d5. A good friend of mine has it and its a beast. Just make sure you pickup a extra conrod for it. I'll be getting one soon for my r40 also. I still don't know if I should get a g4 though I can get a nice deal for a pro chassis (only 100$) for a roller but I don't know if I should take that plunge. The main thing thats holding me back is I have no I mean NO parts support anywhere around here. But since I'm getting such a good deal I may just rack up on spare parts from tower. HMMM what to do what to do.....

lol.... Nothing that's nitro will be cheap, since I've had engines that pass the $250 marker I felt that this would be way cheaper than a mugen or RB engine... with an over all good performance.
Anyway nitro is expensive, but I love it lol...

Well The RD Logics / Team Infinity Motor 312TB. That looked pretty good and its cheap.

My Hobby shop has the TOP TN12 S1 Engine for 159. Im thinking about that one.

I guess im looking to spend about 150. 200 max. I want the os TZ so badly but cannot afford that at all.

Also if anyone has any motors to sell , let me know.

I might let my Nova Rossi NS3 go as I picked up another engine recently. I am running the Texas Biggie this weekend and I want to make sure I want to part with it first.
