I think they said it weights 25grams less or so. Maybe more. That's it here: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGWX1&P=7

I would personally steer clear off the titanium shafts. They are much more prone to bearing rash than the steel shafts. The hollow steel shafts are similar weight to what titanium shafts will be.

MMM thanx for the advice, so far they've worked great, what does this bearing rash do? Does it compromise my performance in any way that something might break?

A run with 40 shore front and 35 shore rear, but I'm going to try 35 shore all around to se if the front tires wear as fast as the rear, the rear go way to fast...
parking lot action mostly....

Titanium is strong, but it can be damaged easily by the vibration of the shaft on the inside race of the bearing. It is like the shaft has been sandpapered. As the shaft gets worn, the vibration increases on the shaft wearing it further. It can bind up the drivetrain.

Well 40/35 in itself will usually give a reasonable amount of understeer. I notice you are not racing, in that case then a front diff is a much better option than the soild front. The solid front and oneway is really for racing only.

mostly we race for fun, but I get together with some friends on sunday and bashed out to see who has the best car. Usually it's me with the R-40 in it's 1/10 category, but today I messed up with the solid axle, so I'm going back to the oneway and will try later again the solid diff.

I guess one way to put it if I wanna keep using the titanium shafts is to have spare shafts and change them every now and then to keep them not so worn...
