Probably the FASTHARRY edition....Futaba 9550 (steer) and 3010 (throttle)..........I took his advise and they work great (on my NTC3 for now...same spec on the R40 in the near future once I got all the carbon fiber cutted out...)

Nope.....the pinion and spur of the 0.8 module are FINER then the 1.0 (like 80% of the OEM 1.0 system)...you have to buy new pinion and spur for the 0.8 module...(the kit come with something like 54/60 with 23/29, I think...)

Harry mine weighs in at 1732g WITH body

Since 1725g with transponder is the minimum weight here I am pretty happy with that weight!!

It is 1610 without body.................

I totally agree. The 9550 servo for settering is brilliant on this car as it fits much nicer. I am using a basic simple Futaba 3003 servo on brakes and throttle since I always use a oneway and therefore dont need powerful brakes.

AMG, you have to share your MOD (I am sure A LOT of them) of your R40 that only weight 1610 g............I think NTC3 is a very LW car stock form, and it is still weight about 1700 without body...

I have no problem of the 3010 or 3003 (BB version) but except I found the whole servo is very hard to PULL.........the reason is I still use throttle return springs, with those low cost servo, the throttle return springs does not have enough tension to pull the servo to BRAKE position.......even it take a little bit of my finger effort to spin the linkage to brake position.........

I think I know why they cost only $25 each.....(even they are fast and have enough torque enough for Nitro use)

Awesome...do they have website...? And actually I am interested in some of the 3Racing products for the R40.....I can get them from HK, but their shipping and no email reply really stop me from buying from them sometimes...

P.S..........I have friends in HK stating the 3Racing front universal swing shaft (CVT) for NTC3 and R40 are very very good products (extremely stronger compare to the stock one)....totally different animal compare to those garbage GPM titanium (mixed with water) crap....I would like to try a pair for myself.

Not bad. Mine weighs in at 1733 with body and transponder and approx 59mm dia tires, and 1630 without body. One other guy that I race with has his car much lighter than mine. Car definately handles much different than the stock one. I also lightened the shock oil and went to softer springs. I like my setup much better (for short tracks)

Man, what did you guys do to the car to make it so light!?! Its not really something I plan on trying, cause I like the car just like it is and resale on all those hop ups is nearly nothing.(hey, nobody keeps a car forever, especially me, so you gotta think of the future )....but I would like to know what all you guys had to do to pull off those weights.
