Finishing up my FTT4 and am puzzled on which way the ribs on the Proline "The Edge" front tires supposed to be facing? \/ \/ \ \ <--this edge to the ouside or inside?

I am not sure if this is the way they were intended to be mounted, I coulnd't find anything on them either.
If you look at the two \ \ , I would think they have to be mounted on the inside of the rim, as they stand up if pushed one way, and they fold over flat if pushed the other. That said, if you have them mounted on the inside, that flap would be pushed up(giving more grip) on the tire with most of the load(left tire if turning right, and vis versa).
This is all just my theory. I ran the tires once, but the track I was running needed pins, I wasn't the only one taking off ribs. So I can't tell you they worked any better or worse than standard ribs.

You can actually run them either way. Standard or aggressive.

Standard= / / V V (chassis) V V \ \

Aggressive= V V \ \ (chassis) / / V V

In my opinion, standard mounting is "aggressive" enough. You will have plenty of side bite. They seem to make the truck a little too twitchy & unstable mounted the aggressive way. I have really only run them on a moderately packed track with a little bit of soft loam on the top layer, but this is what has worked for me.

We use to say mount them with the name to the inside. Now the name is on both sides!!!!

Mine are VV to the outside.

If your planning to race get another set and put the VV to the inside, you will have a tuning option.

I raced one track, and had the VV on the outside on the left and the VV on on the inside on the right. They had a lot of right 180 turns and bermed turns to the left!

Most people I know including myself mount them with the VV's outside. It gives more aggressive turn in. The other way tends to push especially in slick conditions. If you want a little push try losi's red 8 rib tires. They steer well off power and push slightly on power.
