cheers.
As far as I understand it the dampers will still be blue, not gunmetal like on actual winning worlds car.

Are there parts to replace the front and middle one-ways on the TRF-414MII? If so, I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me the part numbers. Thanks.

You can replace the front 1-way with the Ta04 53436 OP436 TA04 Ball Differential Unit (or gear diff if you choose ). Only $16.00 @.....

KeNelson,

I reserved a TRF 414M2 Worlds Replica in Japan ;

http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/index.html

the kit should arrive end of July.

Guys, if you want one, you should do quickly as a lot of reservation have been done and shops have limited supplies.
Rainbowten has the right for 6 kits, 5 have already been reserved.
They are actually trying to get 6 more.

Ask also US shops who carry Tamiya products, they may have the possibility to get some.

Usagi,

I ordered once with RB10 and the shipping price seems fair using EMS.
Do you have other good shop addresses ?

About the availability of WC Replica... do not worry.. they are plenty in Hong Kong and Singapore by end of next month.

Anyway... do you guys ever used the +1 (2 dots) and +1.5 (3 dots) degree of rear suspension blocks? can you tell us what you felt, if any.

Pyramid, they make the car's rear end "stick" better, but I feel it is at the expense of cornering ability; the car has a lot more "resistance" going through a corner. Also seems a tad slower down the straight.

IMHO, I'd rather tune the car via other means, the stock rear toe in is good enough.

On the other hand, let's say we use the 3 dot rear suspension block with the -1 degree toe in carrier. It should give the same toe in (could be wrong) but what will be the effect? Curious curious.

slowhand: Just a minor update on my part. Been testing the anti dive up front, well somehow there is slight bit of understeer off power, but by changing the driving style by -> off throttle earlier to match corner entry speed -> power through corner. Usually I will off throttle to coast through corner -> power once the correct line out of apex.

I guess it's more of a driver style issue. I couldn't get it to work very well with 4wd though, it is great on a dual one way setup.

Also, I tested extreme amounts of antidive like 2-3mm spacers in the front suspension's rear suspension mount, well IMHO the 0.7mm spacer is the one which gives me the best cornering ability. _shrug_ The initial turn in as the castor decreases is better, but it tends to understeer. either using the 0.7 included spacer or I tried 2 0.5mm spacers from Atlas seem to be the best for me.

Haven't got the time to test the raised roll centre yet. Will do so next chance. The car now has pretty good cornering ability, minimum resistance through the corners. Oooo i love it.

414 parts r hard to get...
but some of the minor parts u can actually get the ta04 parts for them...
others like the lower deck, upper deck,f/r damper stay...well u can't use the ta04 parts and u will have 2 oreder them from tamiya directly or if possible, get ur LHS to check if it's possible to order them...and also, they r not cheap...

I need some new body posts for my 414M. Called Tamiya USA directly not in stock. The lower 414M deck I heard was $100+! I don't need that thank God.
