its an additional weight (because of underweight), here..... take a closer look

did he shave the bulkhead or what?? why bother doing that and then adding additinoal weight? get a better balance?

Do you know where can I get that transponder mount in Surikarn's car?? It sure looks nice and neat.

where was this pre-world race held at???

by the way, is Surikarn using futaba ESC?

don't know for sure about chassis balance...... the transponder mount is a hand made i think. Made from lexan bodies and double sided tape and the Worlds Warm-Up is held at South Africa....

The ESC in the pic sure looks like the Futaba. I suppose these Futabas are the same as the Quantum Competition.

You've been following up about TRF414M news anyway. I'm sure Mr. Andy will give it for free for his BEST TEAM DRIVER all you need to do just ask or just let him know about this post.

It's Futaba MC800C, same size with Quantum but 2.5grams less weight. Not sure whether or not they were made by the same company, but I doubt it to be the best ESC around.

what strange about this is a saw the LRP snubs in the futaba booths in tokyo r/c show in Oct 2001. ANd he was looking that those small speed controls........... Yes its a futaba in the pics its too eay to spot them........... The Futaba MC800 is an OEM from LRP. It has the same specs as that of the Quantum Competition. I think the reason for this is that, it is much cheaper for them to enter this high-end speed control space if they just OEM some of the best speed controls and re-packaged it.

BTW, price of the Futaba MC800 and LRP Quantum Competition are the same. We have stock of that in here with the MC800 expensive by US$2.00
