414M2 Parts
Hi PT
I recommend speedtechrc.com for parts; Steve is good at doing all he can to keep Tamiya drivers happy, and usually ships the day he receives the order (quick!). I just bought the SSG chassis plate from him, which is generally pretty hard to find. There is an interesting piece in the 415 thread of someone putting the new Evo 4 suspension kit on a 414, too---interesting.
There are online resources as well; you can do an ebay search with Tamiya 414M as keywords and find some suppliers. Enjoy the car; this chassis is still competetive with many of the more "current" cars out there.

Ran my TRF414m2 SSG for the first time on sunday at a local club meeting , now bearing in mind i have not raced for about six months or so i was very pleased how the car went.
I did not get the time i want to do all the work on the car that i wanted but i did manage to install the EVO III suspenion blocks front and rear.
Despite the poor weather and on/off drizzle all day i found the car very easy to drive with the ball diff up front with just abit of understeer turning into the corner. Looking forward to getting some more track time to work on setups and start getting to grips with the car.

hey guys
does anyone has any experience on running foam on carpet with 414m2?
I ran in stock class and I am struggle to keep up with tc3 and xray
I really want to beat them in tamiya power.
please help
I am running front and rear diff with center oneway. b/c I could find parts to replace my center one way yet.
The car is sliding all over the place. conern turn in is great but it lost itself in the middle. I am suspecting it is the center one way but I am not really sure.
thanks guys

Set-ups
I just bought a TRF414M2 car used to compete in the TCS race up at Trackside at the end of the month. does anybody have any set-ups to use on this car? I have taken a few that were listed on here but was hoping to find more. It would be for the GT1 class which is 19t motor and rubber tires. In case nobody has been to trackside it is a indoor carpet track that has very high traction. Any help would be great.

in case your intrested you can also run a dj pro mod on the 414, and these are an awsome buy.

csaari, i saw you placed a bid on those, i have them on all mine, they lighten the car up quite a bit and look awsome, just so you know that whole set still available in japan goes for about $155 new. good luck.
