This was with the stock RPM rotor, a slightly higher FDR, and minor esc program changes (V223). Looking forward to using the new rotor with recommended adjustments. Always a huge thanks to you and your fantastic products!!!

OK, I'll bite. Is there a new rotor in the works or were you referring to a "new" stock replacement rotor?

It is made from moon rocks and unicorn horns. Top secret right now.

Really I don't know what the new rotor is yet either I just wanted to bump the thread.

I believe it's a RPM type rotor with some differences from the stock RPM rotor. Used it once during a qual with good results, very smooth and endless top end (as it was geared-programmed). Need mild adjustments to ESC programming, gearing, and possible endbell timing. Based on its first run result, it has tremendous potential!

Larger diameter rotors tend to provide more torque, whereas smaller ones provide more RPM. They both have their advantages to suit driver preferences and track conditions. If you have a specific application , please email Matt Murphy at [email protected] and he'll be able to recommend one to meet your needs.

The new rotor we have been testing is a more efficient version of our 12.5 SPEC Rotor. More RPM, slightly less torque than our current 12.5 Rotor, but the added efficiency really lets us use every little bit. I think Burks found some interesting things in his on track testing.

Very nice products!
Trying out new (Rotor, ESC programming, Endbell Timing, and Gearing) setup that Matt mentioned earlier. Anticipate confirming the great results we found from testing last week. Putting it up against competition and track timing system, under race conditions this weekend and look forward to providing setup information very soon!

How far after testing would the new rotor be available?

Wanted to follow up with the testing of a NEW Murfdogg Synergy Rotor. Confirmed with track timing system and against competitors this weekend the initial findings from last week’s performance testing. The performance of the NEW Rotor with advanced endbell can timing, lower gearing, and boosted application setup resulted in its ability to provide noticeably more power throughout the entire RPM range. On average, the NEW Rotor produced lap times .2 seconds faster than the Stock RPM rotor with only a few degrees more heat build up, remaining well within acceptable temperature ranges. It has considerably quicker acceleration and slightly higher top end gains. The New Rotor and setup performed fantastic....it literally rips!!! I look forward to the continued use of this application in both, Onroad - Offroad classes and hope this is helpful to all. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
(Motor: 10.5T Synergy, Motor Endbell: +10* to +12*, Pinion Gear: deducted 3 teeth on 64P pinion gear from normal, no change to normal ESC Boost-Turbo settings).
