no, i am not a fan of max anything. there is a reason there are setting between 1 and max.

i was just saying what ever timing and turbo I have set, I want the total hit mid straight.

I had the same but my car was quicker and my lap times where slower.
I had to much power so I slowed the car down till I had the same speed as the SPX drivers and worked from there to make the car faster.

Did you use Marcel his setup?

Yeah we tried his set up but it made my motor about 90 degrees C after 8 mins so we modified my older settings end it was better. We will try some more settings tomorrow . Mikky will you post your set up on here for me to try. What motor are you running ?

I'm running a LRP X11 10,5T.

I got Eric his setup.
This is his setup.
Boost 55
Turbo 10
Turbo delay 0,3sec
Turbo Ramp 2
Start RPM 3000
End RPM 18000
Gearing 7,2FDR
timing on the motor 5

I prefer more this setup.
Boost 50
Turbo 10
Turbo delay 0,4 to 0,5 (watch that it doesn't come in in the infield.
Turbo ramp 2
Start RPM 2700
End RPM 9000
Gearing 7,0 to 7,2FDR
Motor timing 5

Throttle profile I have normally on 5 but now with some of my setups on 3 because the car accelerates already very good.
You can set the Boost to max but I think that that is to much.
The speedo is quick but it will make it harder to drive.
As you have the feel that the top speed is to high and that you drive better with a lower top speed, lower than the Turbo from 10 to 5.
I did the same and my lap times went down and now I can take the sweeper full throttle like the others.

I am using the 13.5 X11 from LRP so I don't think there will be too much differances between your set up and mine , I will try your set up aswell

O that's why Marcel his setup isn't working. He is using a SP V3.
I think the setups I have posted will work better.
I use with my LRP X11 a gearing of 8FDR right now.

Maybe you need to gear heavier but try some gearing with the setups above.

I found this posted on the MM Pro thread and found it very interesting. I upgraded to 203 and my car went faster, so I guess his first point is ridiculous. Then he talks about Castle's circuitry being "far superior". I guess with better circuitry and slower cars, they still have some bugs to work out. Finally, is anyone running 6S lipos in their cars?

Also try sensored only mode, 10 timing boost, 0 motor timing, no turbo.

Ron Goetter is also running Tekin in 9th place 17.5 TC.

Hahaha yes I didn't take it serious so I let him talk.
He says that he needs 6S Lipo's in there car to be faster than Tekin.
lol.
He doesn't now how to setup his speedo and goes for the thing that goes faster.
He is right on 1 point, the mamba is "far superior" in size. You can fit 4 Tekin's in place of 1 Mamba.
It needs 6S lipo to pull it forward.

Tekin is showing that they are fast.
LRP did there work also well but the Advanced is already old before it is for sale out here.
And I'm happy that I have chosen for Tekin.
Sins I have my Tekin there were 3 LRP's and 3 Speedpassion's.
GM comes with a new speedo and will not update the old one any more.
It will be there second speedo.
Thanks Tekin to give me so much speedo's in just one very small box.

I dusted off a old laptop just for running hotwire that runs windows xp but has a screen size limitation of 800x600. I did a clean install of the system (reformat the drive). Unfortunately the GUI of hotwire (although it looks really cool) seems to get in the way of function. For instance its impossible to expand the advanced settings of the interface. Is there a way I can just strip the 'skin' of the GUI and have a more functinonal interface?
